Newfangled Pothole Filler

Always creative around here...this is one of the many ways we are filling our potholes these days...this is by the KingPin

Yet another fun traffic sign

Can't imagine why that SUV was broadsided and flipped over on it's side outside Snake & Jake's...could it be our fancy stop sign didn't impart to the hit & run driver to STOP!?!?!?!

Hey, at least it's a pretty color scheme!

Whew!! Voodoo!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while...lots to tell, but crazy busy...working on Comic Relief 2006 now! Following are a few pics of Voodoo. I will post more soon. I will also give you a run down on the fun. It was awesome!!! Let's just say if it hadn't been for an amazing crew and people like Juan, Andre, and B...I wouldn't have survived.

Just a preview of stories to come...it rained like a mutha on Friday, a water main broke behind my stage and in the production road, I had surgery twice last week (but still made it to work). Have no fear...no one in the audience could see me sweat!

Oh, hell! can't get the captions and pics to line up...gonna have to deal with some other day...busy, busy!

That's me!!

Music for Friends

Okey-dokey...start thinking about this while I try to figure out the best plan of action...

We have a lot of work to do...helping friends replace their music...just like the Photos for Friends situation. Start thinking of cataloging your music or at least posting lists of music that can be downloaded and copied. You can respond on this blog or email me at robinchambless@gmail.com.

I have lots o' cool stuff on cassette (YIKES!) from the 80's & 90's...lots o' demo tapes and live performances. I am on the eternal search for someone locally who can (and has the equipment & time) to download cassettes onto my computer...any takers?

Thinkin' Caps, Kids!!!

Later....AND,

LOVEYAMEANIT!!

The Oak Street Posse made its way to ChickieWahWah's (Canal Street near Broad) last week for Morning 40 Federation. Miss Lori was behind the bar, Jason mixing audio with Dread Fred assisting, Mike on the door...very cool evening.

Looks like a train wreck in the making...they pulled it off, of course.
