Jazz Funeral/Parade
Tuesday, August 29, 2006 found us (me, Elaine, Juan, Kristin, Dawn, and Chris) at the city's jazz funeral/parade. The procession included military (General Hornore was in the lead with C. Ray Nagin) and first responders. Relief organizations such as Red Cross & Emergency Communities were represented. Following up were Mardi Gras Indians and Brass Band. Rebirth and it seems like everybody else were there...
