Family Pleasure Aid & Social Club - October 1, 2006

My friend, Liz Pulver, brought her mother, aunt, and grandmother to New Orleans this weekend. She lives in Memphis and her family lives in Fort Wayne, IN. We ate at Jacques-Imo's on Saturday night. I took them on the "Devastation Tour" Sunday, October 1, 2006.

We visited Lakeview, the Lower 9, and Chalmette. On the way back, I felt the need to show them the 7th Ward. Lo and Behold...we turned into the neighborhood and found a secondline! The Family Pleasure Aid and Social Cllub...

The most amazing sight today was to look across St. Bernard Avenue and see Pernell!! I can't believe he road his motorcycle across town...thought it only went up and down Adams Street!
